～な 〔形がゆがんだ〕 distorted; warped; crooked; twisted; irregular; 〔状態が正常でない〕 distorted 《view》; warped 《mind》; abnormal 《psychology》; lopsided 《society》.

●この真珠はいびつな形をしている. This pearl is irregularly shaped [has an irregular shape].

・いびつな社会構造が経済を混乱させた. It is the distortions in the social structure that threw the economy into confusion.

・彼は性格がいびつだ. He has a warped personality.

・この皿はちょっといびつに見える. This plate doesn't seem to be absolutely round [symmetrical].
